Job description
Job Description: Are you a passionate and enthusiastic newly qualified PE Teacher ready to kickstart your career? A vibrant secondary school in Durham is seeking a full-time Female PE Teacher (ECT) to join their energetic and inclusive PE department from January 2026. Location: Durham Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Paid in line with MPS – ECT scale About the School: This mixed comprehensive school is well-established within its community and has recently undergone significant refurbishment, including a new sports hall and gym. The PE department is dynamic and collaborative, with a strong track record of supporting ECTs through weekly mentoring, observation, and professional development. The school values work-life balance and promotes excellent student behaviour and participation in PE.
