Job description
We are currently seeking an engaging and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join a high-achieving and innovative school in Salisbury . This full-time, permanent position beginning January 2026 is suited to a DT specialist who thrives in a creative and technically forward-thinking environment. • Design & Technology Teacher • High-Achieving and Innovative School in Salisbury • Full-time, permanent position • DT role starting January 2026 School Information This Salisbury school is widely respected for its academic ambition, supportive ethos, and exceptional facilities . The DT Department boasts modern workshops equipped with CAD/CAM technology, 3D printers, CNC machinery, and specialist equipment for Product Design and Engineering. The school encourages problem-solving, creativity, and industry-linked learning. Role Information You will teach DT across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design, Engineering, or Resistant Materials. You will help deliver practical, imaginative lessons and support extracurricular clubs and competitions. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in DT, Product Design, or Engineering • PGCE and QTS • Strong practical skills and confidence with workshop machinery • Commitment to innovation and high-quality design education Salary Paid to scale on MPS / UPS Application This DT Teacher role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing Salisbury school committed to creativity and technical excellence.
