Job description
A leading Outstanding Ofsted-rated Mixed Academy in Camden, Central London, known for its exceptional humanities results and supportive staff culture, seeks a talented ECT of Religious Studies for a Maternity Cover, Part-Time (0.6 FTE) role, commencing in January 2026. Compensation & Contract Job Title: ECT of Religious Studies Contract: Maternity Cover, Part-Time (0.6 FTE) Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Pro-rata salary based on the Inner London Teachers' Pay Scales (ECT/MPS), including statutory ECT benefits. The Role The successful ECT of Religious Studies will instruct Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) classes, fostering ethical debate and philosophical inquiry. The ECT of Religious Studies will benefit from a structured induction programme and close mentoring within a collegiate department. The department provides a highly supportive environment for the ECT of Religious Studies to develop their craft. The ECT of Religious Studies will play an important role in contributing to the strong intellectual culture of the school. The school is seeking an enthusiastic ECT of Religious Studies to cover this absence. Applications are welcomed from motivated graduates ready to teach as an ECT of Religious Studies. The cover period requires a dedicated ECT of Religious Studies to maintain continuity. This role offers a flexible pathway for a highly qualified ECT of Religious Studies. Requirements Holds QTS Has the right to work in the UK Experience teaching KS3/4 and or KS5 About the School This Outstanding-rated school is highly regarded and focuses on developing confident, articulate, and academically successful young people.
