Job description
A well-established secondary school in Didcot is seeking a professional, approachable, and organised School Receptionist to join their front-of-house team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, permanent role, crucial to providing a welcoming first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. About the Role As the School Receptionist, you will manage the reception area and ensure the smooth running of daily office operations. Your role is vital in maintaining an efficient, professional, and friendly environment, helping the school operate effectively and safely. Key Responsibilities • Greeting visitors and managing sign-in/sign-out procedures • Answering and directing telephone calls and emails efficiently • Supporting attendance and safeguarding procedures • Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries • Providing general administrative support to staff and leadership • Assisting with events, meetings, and school activities School Information This Outstanding school in Didcot is known for its high academic standards, positive student behaviour, and strong staff support.
