School Business Manager – Primary School, Westminster Location: Westminster, London Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience) About the School Our client is a well-established and successful primary school in Westminster , known for its inclusive ethos, high standards, and strong sense of community . The leadership team fosters a collaborative and forward-thinking culture , ensuring that staff are valued, empowered, and encouraged to make a meaningful contribution to school life. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive School Business Manager to oversee the school’s financial, operational, and administrative management . This is a key leadership role, working closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure the efficient and effective running of the school. Key Responsibilities: Manage finance, budgeting, and resource planning Oversee HR, premises, and health & safety compliance Lead on procurement, contracts, and administrative systems Support the Headteacher with strategic development and school improvement planning Ensure efficient use of school resources to maximise value for money Experience and Qualifications Previous experience as a School Business Manager or similar role Strong financial and administrative management skills Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities Proficiency with school management systems and finance software (e.g., FMS, SIMS, or similar) The legal right to work in the UK Application If you are a highly organised and motivated professional seeking a rewarding leadership role within a supportive and successful primary school , please send your CV as soon as possible to be considered for this School Business Manager position.
