About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of sporting abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including practical demonstrations, coaching techniques, and fitness assessments, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual development. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level PE examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and resources. Foster a love of sports and physical activity in students, encouraging them to develop their skills and fitness. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school teams. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level PE examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all sporting abilities. A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering physical fitness. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Benefits: Full-time, permanent position, starting September 2025.
