About the Role A thriving and inclusive secondary school in North Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to Sixth Form teaching for experienced candidates. The role is ideal for a reflective, passionate teacher who values curiosity, discussion and personal development in young people. Key Details Position: Teacher of Religious Education Contract: Full-time, permanent Start Date: January 2026 Key Stages: 3 – 4 (with KS5 opportunities) Suitable for: Experienced teachers or confident ECTs The Department and Facilities The Humanities department is a vibrant and supportive team with a shared commitment to academic excellence and inclusive education. Religious Education plays a key role in the curriculum, encouraging students to explore beliefs, ethics and moral questions through thoughtful, engaging teaching. Lessons balance knowledge and exploration, helping learners develop empathy and moral awareness alongside academic understanding. In addition, you’ll: Support GCSE students in achieving their target grades through high-quality feedback and intervention Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning Participate in enrichment and pastoral initiatives across the school Play an active role in promoting the school’s ethos of respect, inclusion and community About You You’ll bring: QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies, Philosophy or Ethics A creative and reflective approach to teaching and learning A commitment to high standards, inclusion and personal growth A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to wider school life About the School This 11–18 comprehensive school is proud of its welcoming atmosphere and close-knit community.
