Job description
Are you a skilled and passionate Upper Key Stage 2 teacher ready to make a difference at a critical stage in primary education? We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our thriving Surrey school from January 2026. This permanent role is open to full-time and part-time applicants, with potential TLR opportunities for the right candidate. About the School Our Ofsted-rated Good with Outstanding features school, located in a suburban Surrey community, is renowned for excellent SATs outcomes, inclusive practice, and a nurturing environment. Position: Year 6 Teacher Location: Surrey Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership As our Year 6 Teacher, you will: Lead pupils through their final year of primary school, preparing them for SATs and secondary transition Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons Assess learning to ensure strong progress for all pupils Foster an inclusive, positive classroom culture (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase What We’re Looking For QTS and experience teaching Upper KS2 Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and SATs preparation Reflective, organised, and motivated practitioner Excellent communication and collaboration skills What We Offer Supportive colleagues and leadership team Enthusiastic and well-behaved pupils CPD, coaching, and career progression TLR opportunities for the right candidate Surrey location with good transport links How to Apply If you’re a motivated Year 6 Teacher ready to inspire pupils and colleagues alike, we’d love to hear from you.
