The school boasts a vibrant performing arts culture and provides students with access to professional-grade studio spaces. This role is ideal for a specialist who enjoys balancing rigorous academic teaching with a rich extra-curricular programme of productions. Core Responsibilities Instruct Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a curriculum that balances practical performance with theoretical script analysis. Organise and direct high-quality school productions, fostering a sense of ensemble and creative confidence among the pupils. Manage the school’s black box studio, ensuring a safe and inspiring environment for rehearsal and performance. School Profile & Support Small class sizes that allow for intensive, bespoke feedback and high-level devised work. Technical support provided by a dedicated Theatre Technician for all practical elements. A supportive faculty that prioritises artistic communication and creative risk-taking. Requirements & Compensation Essential: Must hold QTS and a relevant degree in Drama or the Performing Arts. Salary: Highly competitive remuneration on the school's own independent pay scale.
