Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Geography department. Develop and implement an engaging and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of all students. Lead and manage a team of dedicated Geography teachers. Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to ensure high attainment. Lead on departmental CPD and ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. Manage departmental resources effectively. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Geography or a related subject. Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting. Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. A passion for Geography education and a commitment to student success.
