Job description
A high-performing secondary school in the Newcastle / Tyne area is recruiting a full-time Spanish Teacher from January 2026. The role includes teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 A-Level involvement for those experienced. • Spanish Teacher required from January 2026 • Full-time position in the Newcastle / Tyne area • Teach Spanish (KS3 & KS4; optional KS5) Ideal for someone passionate about languages, culture, fluency practice, and helping students gain confidence in speaking and listening as well as reading and writing. Experience and Qualifications • QTS with specialization in Spanish or modern foreign languages • Secondary teaching experience or strong PGCE/training record in languages • Comfortable with communicative language teaching, curriculum planning, and exam prep • Legal right to work in the UK School Information The school is known locally for its strong MFL programme and a steady record of good outcomes. • Well-resourced language rooms, use of language technology and authentic materials • Supportive leadership and collaborative departments • Focus on both cultural enrichment and exam performance Salary MPS/UPS depending on experience.
