What You’ll Be Doing As a PPA Teacher, your key responsibilities will include: Delivering High-Quality Lessons: Teach engaging and well-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups to cover for teachers on PPA time. Ensuring Progress: Help maintain high standards of academic achievement, supporting students in achieving their learning goals. Adapting Lessons: Tailor your teaching approach to suit the needs and learning styles of different year groups and individuals. Creating a Positive Classroom Environment: Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to be independent learners. Collaborating with Teachers: Work closely with class teachers and the leadership team to ensure continuity of learning and share best practices. Monitoring and Assessing Progress: Track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help children develop and excel. Contributing to School Life: Participate in school-wide initiatives, events, and extracurricular activities, contributing to a vibrant school culture. What We’re Looking For We are looking for a PPA Teacher who: Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification. Has experience teaching across multiple year groups and can adapt easily to different subjects and key stages. Is passionate about teaching and able to inspire students with engaging lessons. Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and is skilled at differentiating lessons to meet diverse needs. Demonstrates excellent communication skills and can work well as part of a team. Is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all children can succeed. Has a positive and flexible attitude, willing to collaborate and support others in their teaching practice.
