Job description
Our client is seeking an Economics Teacher to join a highly successful sixth form college in Leeds from January 2026. This position involves teaching A-Level Economics across Year 12 and Year 13. The role can be offered on a full-time basis, although 0.8FTE will be considered for the right candidate. Economics Teacher required to teach KS5 from January 2026 Outstanding sixth form college located in central Leeds Well-established department with excellent student results and uptake The successful Economics Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous lessons in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Global Economics. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with academically driven students in a setting that prioritises subject depth, critical thinking, and contemporary relevance. Experience and Qualifications • Economics Teacher • Enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner • Strong academic background in Economics or a related discipline • A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (or equivalent) • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This is a highly regarded sixth form college situated in central Leeds, known for delivering consistently strong outcomes and a culture of academic excellence.
