Job description
A welcoming Good Primary School in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join its friendly KS1 team on a Full-Time contract beginning January 2026 . This Year 2 Teacher role will focus on literacy development, phonics and foundational numeracy. • Year 2 Teacher required on a Full-Time basis from January 2026 • Good Primary School in Hemel Hempstead • Supportive staff culture and strong leadership team The successful Year 2 Teacher will begin induction before January 2026 , ensuring a seamless transition. From January 2026 , the Year 2 Teacher will teach a bright class of 28 children, working closely with a capable teaching assistant. The Full-Time Year 2 Teacher will plan engaging lessons, differentiate effectively and promote creativity across the curriculum. This Good School in Hemel Hempstead has an inspiring leadership team dedicated to professional development. The Year 2 Teacher will benefit from regular CPD, mentoring and wellbeing support. The Full-Time Year 2 Teacher will also have access to modern classrooms and digital resources from January 2026 . Requirements for the Year 2 Teacher : QTS, solid KS1 experience and the ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The ideal Year 2 Teacher will be organised, enthusiastic and committed to consistent communication with families.
