Job description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a high-performing and supportive secondary school on the Isle of Wight . The Science Department is a central part of the school’s curriculum and enjoys modern laboratories, specialist technical support, and a collaborative teaching team. Role Information You will teach general Science across KS3–KS4, with the possibility of KS5 teaching depending on specialism and experience. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that integrate practical investigations, scientific literacy, and strong conceptual understanding. Participation in STEM clubs, enrichment, and trips is also encouraged. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in a Science discipline • PGCE and QTS • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3–4 • Ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons • Commitment to student progress and academic excellence Salary Paid to scale on MPS / UPS Application This Science Teacher role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, ambitious school community on the Isle of Wight.
