Job description
Role Category & Location Sector: Outstanding Ofsted Secondary Academy. Borough: Enfield (England). Start Date: ASAP Start, Permanent, Full-Time. The Opportunity & Role Profile This Outstanding Enfield academy is seeking a proactive and skilled Caretaker. You will be responsible for the security, maintenance, and overall safety of a high-spec site, ensuring it remains an inspiring and safe environment for pupils and staff. Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope Site Security: Responsible for the daily opening and locking of the school site and acting as the primary key-holder. Maintenance & Compliance: Managing general repairs, supervising external contractors, and ensuring all Health & Safety logs (fire/water) are meticulously kept. Operational Excellence: Supporting the school's events and co-curricular programmes through effective room setups and logistics. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Proven experience in site management or a skilled trade (plumbing/electrical/joinery). Salary: Competitive salary paid on the local government scale. Support: Onsite parking provided and a well-resourced premises budget.
