Job description
English ECT – Girls’ Secondary School, Wandsworth (January Start) Location: Wandsworth Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale Start Date: January 2026 A welcoming and high-achieving 11–18 girls’ school in Wandsworth is seeking a committed and inspiring English ECT to join their team this January. School Information This school is renowned for its strong academic outcomes, excellent pastoral care, and inclusive learning culture. ECTs benefit from a well-structured induction programme, weekly mentoring, and opportunities to observe outstanding practitioners across the department. About the English Department The English team is collaborative, highly creative, and passionate about language and literature. The curriculum encourages students to explore a diverse range of texts, develop strong analytical skills, and nurture a lifelong love of reading and writing. As an ECT, you will be fully supported with planning resources, coaching, and developmental CPD.
