About the Role As a DT ECT, your role will include: • Teaching Design & Technology across KS3–KS4 • Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons that promote creativity and technical skill • Supporting students with project-based coursework • Contributing to department projects, clubs and enrichment activities • Participating fully in the comprehensive ECT induction programme • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and best practice Experience and Qualifications • Degree in DT, Product Design, Engineering or related discipline • PGCE with QTS – ECTs strongly encouraged to apply • Strong practical skills and confidence using workshop tools and machinery • Passion for design, problem-solving and hands-on learning Salary Paid to scale – MPS Application This Design & Technology ECT role in Taunton offers an outstanding opportunity to begin your teaching career within a high-performing and supportive school community.
