Job description
Economics Teacher – Focus purely on A-Level delivery in a specialist centre – Tower Hamlets A highly-selective, academic Sixth Form centre attached to a successful comprehensive in Tower Hamlets is seeking a specialist Economics Teacher from January 2026. This role is almost exclusively focused on A-Level teaching. Economics Specialist required from January 2026 Tower Hamlets-based Sixth Form centre near major financial institutions Ideal for a teacher with deep expertise in Macro and Micro Economics theory and application The role involves teaching the full A-Level Economics curriculum (Edexcel/AQA) to high-achieving students. You will prepare students for external examinations, coordinate revision sessions, and integrate current economic affairs and financial data into your lessons using case studies. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Economics Demonstrable track record of high achievement in A-Level Economics Familiarity with contemporary economic models and global finance issues Excellent ability to foster academic debate and critical thinking in the classroom School Information This Sixth Form consistently sends a high proportion of students to Russell Group universities , creating a highly ambitious and academically focused atmosphere.
