Design Technology Teacher – Lambeth – Make a Real Difference Are you a Design Technology Teacher who believes in the power of hands-on learning? Your Skills, Their Future: This full-time, permanent Design Technology Teacher role is about more than just following a curriculum. It's about fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. You'll be working with students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5), guiding them through a range of DT specialisms. The specific specialisms needed will depend on the school's current resources and curriculum, but could include: Resistant Materials Graphics Product Design Textiles To work in an Outstanding school What You'll Do: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons. Create a safe and inspiring workshop environment. Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Design Technology curriculum. Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and forward-thinking department. Be a Design Technology Teacher What You Need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A degree in Design Technology or a related field. Proven experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level. Strong practical skills and a passion for making.
