Job description
A well-regarded secondary school in Cambridge is seeking an organised and committed Science Technician to join its thriving Science department on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking and supportive school community. About the Role The successful candidate will support Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3–KS5, preparing practical resources, maintaining equipment and ensuring laboratories operate safely and efficiently. You will work closely with teaching staff to organise experiments, manage chemical stocks, set up apparatus and ensure high-quality learning experiences for pupils. This permanent role offers stability, professional development and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a well-resourced and collaborative department.
