Job description
Our client is seeking a reliable, proactive and committed Estates Operative to join a welcoming and well-run Primary School in Aylesbury, recognised for its strong community ethos, safe environment, and supportive leadership. Full-time Estates Operative required as soon as possible in Aylesbury Primary School environment Excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, child-centred, and team-focused setting This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced site professional to become part of a dedicated premises team. The school prides itself on maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and presentation, ensuring pupils and staff can thrive in a secure and well-maintained environment. The site is well supported, and the successful candidate will benefit from a positive working culture, clear procedures, and opportunities for further training and development. Estates Operative – Experience and Qualifications Experience in site maintenance, caretaking, facilities or estates work Practical skills in general repairs, basic DIY, and grounds maintenance Understanding of health & safety and safe working practices Ability to respond to day-to-day issues and prioritise workload effectively Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team First Aid or Fire Marshal training desirable (training can be provided) Eligibility to work in the UK School Information This friendly and inclusive Primary School is known for its nurturing approach, high expectations, and strong relationships with families.
