Job description
An inclusive and community-focused secondary school in Lewisham is looking to appoint a welcoming and organised School Receptionist. This is a busy and varied role, perfect for someone who enjoys supporting a diverse school community. Key Responsibilities Greeting students, parents, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Managing phone calls, emails, and visitor sign-in procedures Supporting safeguarding requirements and maintaining secure reception practices Assisting with attendance queries and general administrative tasks Working closely with the school office team to support daily operations The Ideal Candidate Experience in a school or fast-paced reception environment Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness Excellent multitasking and organisational abilities Confident IT user, including email, databases, and Microsoft Office Able to remain calm and approachable in a lively school setting Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) About the School This popular 11–16 secondary school serves a vibrant local community and is known for its supportive ethos and strong pastoral care.
