Job description
Permanent | Full-Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PE ECT to join a high-performing and inclusive secondary school in Doncaster. This is a full-time, permanent position , offering excellent mentoring, structured ECT support, and professional development within a strong Physical Education department. • PE ECT required to work full-time • Outstanding mixed secondary school in Doncaster • Join a successful and well-established PE department with a comprehensive ECT induction programme This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher to begin their teaching career in a school recognised for its academic standards, positive behaviour culture, and commitment to student wellbeing. The successful candidate will teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 , with opportunities to contribute to KS5/BTEC Sport for suitable candidates. Experience and Qualifications • PE ECT (PGCE or equivalent completed) • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physical Education and school sport • Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional development • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This 11–18 mixed secondary school in Doncaster is rated Outstanding by Ofsted and is recognised for excellent outcomes, inclusive values, and strong leadership. With approximately 1,200 students on roll and a thriving Sixth Form, the school offers excellent indoor and outdoor sports facilities, modern resources, and a strong emphasis on participation and healthy lifestyles. The PE department is supportive and collaborative, with a strong extracurricular programme and clear curriculum structure. ECTs benefit from a structured induction programme , mentoring from experienced staff, and access to high-quality CPD.
