Job description
A respected co-educational independent school in Oxfordshire is seeking a Biology Teacher to join their high-achieving Science Department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position for a teacher passionate about connecting science with real-world understanding. About the Role You will teach Biology across KS3–KS5, fostering curiosity about the natural world through practical experiments, fieldwork, and research projects. The school’s Biology Department encourages students to think critically about global challenges such as sustainability and healthcare. You will also contribute to science clubs, ecology initiatives, and medical society lectures, offering breadth to pupils’ educational experience. About the School Located in stunning grounds, this school combines academic rigour with pastoral warmth. The Science Centre houses dedicated labs for each discipline, interactive displays, and a greenhouse facility for experimental research.
