Job description
Our client, a Good mixed 11–18 secondary school in Essex , is seeking a Psychology ECT to join their vibrant and forward-thinking Humanities and Social Sciences faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and reflective early-career teacher eager to make a meaningful impact while receiving first-class training and support. Role Overview The successful Psychology ECT will teach engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5 , fostering curiosity and analytical thinking among students. You will work closely with an experienced subject mentor and benefit from a structured induction programme , ensuring a smooth transition into your teaching career. The department actively encourages innovation in lesson planning, the use of real-world case studies, and the integration of research-based practices to enhance student learning. School Information With around 1,300 pupils on roll , this co-educational school is known for its inclusive ethos, high academic standards , and commitment to staff development. The Psychology and Social Sciences department is well-resourced, offering access to modern classrooms, digital tools, and a supportive team of dedicated practitioners.
