Job description
An enthusiastic Science Teacher with a specialism and passion for Chemistry is required to join an Outstanding school in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the fundamental principles of chemistry and their real-world applications. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Chemistry to Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations, with a strong emphasis on chemical concepts. Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment for chemical exploration and experimentation. Assess and monitor student progress in Science (Chemistry), providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Chemistry or Science with a strong Chemistry background. Demonstrated experience teaching Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Chemistry at Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong and comprehensive knowledge of chemical principles and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex chemical ideas clearly and engagingly to students. Benefits Outer London Payscale.
