Job description
Are you looking for a school to soon become your home? A celebrated school in Reading is searching for an exceptional Religious Studies Teacher with a commitment to excellence. Job Overview Our client is recruiting for a Religious Studies Teacher starting in January. The school is a co-educational school with an excellent rapport. The Religious Studies Teacher will be expected to teach RS across KS3 to KS5 to a motivated, high-achieving, and respectful student body. The School The school fosters well-rounded individuals through the personal, social, moral, spiritual and cultural (PSMSC) programme while simultaneously promoting staff well-being and regular professional development. Parents are overwhelmingly complimentary about the school, one of which described the staff as ‘incredible’ people who ‘know the pupils well and engage with them on an individual level.’ The Humanities department goes above and beyond to create an exciting educational experience for its students. The Humanities department often hosts guest speakers who will bring a unique perspective to challenging topics. The Humanities Teachers also host trips both domestically and internationally, which fosters an interactive learning environment. Religious Studies Teacher – Experience and Qualifications Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject A formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE) Legal right to work in the UK Strong subject knowledge and passion for Religious Studies Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills Application To be considered for this Religious Studies Teacher position, please submit your CV as soon as possible.
