Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teacher for a high-achieving school in Newham, starting September 2025. This is a full-time position. Interviews will be held as soon as possible. The leadership team is supportive, and the school fosters a strong ethos of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. KS2 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of KS2 students. Implement a variety of teaching methods to ensure that all students are engaged and challenged. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages enthusiasm for learning and fosters mutual respect. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and maintain a high standard of teaching. Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on student progress and addressing any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities as required. KS2 Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in KS2, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum. Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a love of learning in students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. A team-oriented approach and commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
