Job description
An Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Essex is seeking an enthusiastic ECT MFL Teacher (French and/or Spanish) to join their Languages department from January 2026 . Full-time MFL ECT (French/Spanish) starting January 2026 Essex-based school with a strong modern languages tradition Perfect for a teacher who values culture, communication, and creativity You will teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, using interactive methods and authentic materials to bring language learning to life. The role offers scope to contribute to language clubs and cultural trips abroad. Experience and Qualifications PGCE in MFL (French/Spanish) with QTS or pending QTS Strong subject knowledge and native-level fluency desirable Enthusiastic and committed to promoting intercultural awareness Positive classroom presence and excellent communication skills School Information The Languages department is friendly, innovative, and supportive of early-career teachers. The school has a rich linguistic and cultural curriculum with excellent behaviour and academic standards.
