Job description
Year 1 Teacher – Permanent Position Location: Kensington Start Date: April 2025 Contract: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Kensington on a permanent basis from April 2025 . This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a lasting impact in a supportive and high-achieving environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that align with the Year 1 national curriculum . Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported. Monitor and track student progress , using assessments to inform teaching and provide targeted support. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Promote positive behaviour management and encourage a love of learning. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Key Stage 1 , ideally Year 1 . A passion for early years education , with the ability to inspire and engage young learners. Strong communication and teamwork skills , with a commitment to collaboration.
