Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Economics Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Derbyshire, starting in January 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced Economics Teachers as well as ECTs. About the Economics Department The Economics department is a vibrant and successful part of the school, with a strong track record of success and innovation. As a Economics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's continued success and inspire a love of learning among students. About the Role As a Economics Teacher, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching Economics across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners. • Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback. • Contributing to the Economics department's curriculum development and resource creation. • Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment. • Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. • Participating in relevant professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications • Economics related Degree • QTS or PGCE • Economics Teacher Salary The salary for this Economics Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
