Job description
Business Studies ECT – Good Mixed School in Merton (January Start) Location: Merton Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to Scale A Good 11–18 mixed school in Merton is seeking a dynamic Business Studies ECT to join their growing department in January. About the School The school encourages creativity, enterprise and high aspirations. ECTs receive excellent mentoring and benefit from strong links with local organisations and business networks. About the Business Department Known for its strong exam performance, the department offers GCSE and A Level Business with opportunities for enterprise clubs, Young Enterprise competitions and business masterclasses. The Role • Teach Business at KS4 and support A Level lessons • Develop lessons that explore marketing, finance, enterprise and the economy • Participate in business challenges, trips and enrichment weeks Requirements • QTS (or pending) with Business or Economics degree • Ability to motivate students through real-world examples • Strong organisational and communication skills To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
