Job description
Economics Teacher - Part-Time, Fixed-Term (April 2025 Start) A respected Catholic School in Westminster is seeking a part-time Economics Teacher to join our team from April 2025. If you are passionate about exploring economic principles and preparing students for the challenges of the global economy, we invite you to apply. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons to Key Stage 5 students, focusing on A-Level preparation. Guide students in developing a deep understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic principles. Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills through debates, discussions, and the analysis of economic data. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and examinations, providing constructive and insightful feedback. Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and intellectually challenging learning environment. Ideal Candidate: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Economics. * Experience teaching Economics at A-Level, with a proven ability to inspire and challenge students. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for engaging students in intellectual discourse. * A strong understanding of current economic issues and global trends. * A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education.
