Job description
Maths Teacher (KS3-5) - Croydon Secondary School Calling all passionate and dedicated Maths Teachers! Do you have the drive and enthusiasm to inspire young minds to embrace the world of numbers? is a thriving secondary school in Croydon, committed to providing a high-quality Maths education that fosters problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and a love of Maths . We are seeking an exceptional Maths Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will: Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles, fostering a love of Maths in our students. Create a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their Maths lessons. Teach a variety of mathematical concepts and skills, promoting mathematical literacy and developing students' confidence in their abilities. Assess and monitor student progress in Maths, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources, ensuring that our teaching remains current and engaging. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Maths teaching. We are looking for a Maths Teacher who has: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Mathematics or a related field. Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Maths. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. A passion for Maths and a commitment to inspiring students.
