What You’ll Be Doing as an Art Teacher As an Art Teacher , you will teach across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and diverse lessons that inspire students to create, think critically, and express themselves through visual art. Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Delivering Lessons : As an Art Teacher , you will plan and deliver innovative and engaging lessons across a range of art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. Encouraging Creativity : You’ll help students discover their creative potential and express themselves through their artwork, fostering an environment where experimentation and originality are encouraged. Assessment and Feedback : Regularly assess students' progress in their artwork, providing constructive feedback and helping them refine their techniques. Supporting Student Growth : Guide students to achieve their best results in GCSE and A-level art exams, supporting their growth as artists and individuals. Collaborative Working : Work closely with other Art Teachers to share resources, teaching strategies, and ideas to enhance the overall experience for students in the Art Department. What We Are Looking For in an Art Teacher We are seeking a talented and dedicated Art Teacher who is passionate about teaching and fostering creativity in students. The ideal candidate will have: A Degree in Art or a Related Subject : You should be a qualified Art Teacher with the appropriate academic background. Experience Teaching Art : Experience teaching Art across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 is preferred, though early career teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
