About the German Teacher Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated German Teacher to join our successful Modern Foreign Languages department. The successful German Teacher will have the opportunity to teach German across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the German language and culture. Responsibilities of the German Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality German lessons that cater to a range of learning styles. Create a positive and stimulating learning environment where students feel confident to explore the German language and develop their communication skills. Assess and monitor student progress in German , providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and departmental resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of German teaching. Support the Christian ethos of the school and contribute to its distinctive values. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in German or a related field. Experience teaching German at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for German. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for German and a commitment to inspiring students.
