Receptionist – Outstanding Secondary School – Bournemouth Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School Information This Outstanding 11–18 secondary school in Bournemouth is recognised for its professional standards, excellent student behaviour, and strong operational systems. The school prides itself on presenting a welcoming and well-organised environment for students, staff, and visitors. The front office plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth daily running of the school. It is often the first point of contact for families and visitors, and professionalism is essential. The school is seeking a confident, organised, and personable Receptionist. Role Overview The Receptionist will manage front-of-house duties and administrative support. Key responsibilities include: Welcoming visitors and managing sign-in procedures Answering and directing telephone enquiries Managing reception emails Supporting student attendance processes Assisting with administrative tasks Maintaining safeguarding visitor logs Supporting first aid procedures Coordinating deliveries Assisting with parent communication Supporting office systems The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask. Administration Team The Receptionist works closely with the School Administrator, Attendance Officer, and senior leadership within a structured office environment.
