Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Year 4 Teacher to join our dynamic team from April 2025. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in nurturing the academic and personal growth of your students, helping them to reach their full potential. Position: Year 4 Teacher Job Type: Full-time Start Date: April 2025 Salary: MPS/UPS Not suitable for ECTs The Role: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all learners in your class Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, providing tailored support and interventions as necessary to ensure every student thrives Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment, where values such as responsibility, resilience, and empathy are actively encouraged Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and participate in professional development Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support the academic and personal development of your pupils What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 4 A strong passion for teaching, with the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports the well-being and development of every student Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a classroom effectively A collaborative team player who is eager to contribute to the success of the school community Experience working in diverse, inclusive environments is highly valued About the School: This is a vibrant and nurturing institution, where children are encouraged to develop their curiosity, creativity, and academic excellence.
