Are you an enthusiastic and passionate teacher? We’re looking for a KS1 Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive school in Waltham Forest, starting in April 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position. Interviews will be held soon! KS1 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver innovative and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of KS1 children. Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn. Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear learning objectives. Encourage children to develop independence, creativity, and a love of learning. Work closely with colleagues to ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively and creatively. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress and well-being. Take part in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities to contribute to the overall success of the school. KS1 Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally with a focus on Year 1 or 2. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods. Passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for young learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible, team-player who is eager to collaborate and grow professionally. Commitment to continuous professional development and high teaching standards.
