Job description
School Status & Location Sector: Outstanding Ofsted-rated Secondary Academy. Borough: Harrow (Outer London). Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing January 2026. The Opportunity & School Profile This Outstanding high school seeks a dynamic Physics ECT to join its highly successful STEM faculty. The school requires an individual passionate about energy and mechanics, focusing on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role offers a structured curriculum, excellent resources, and dedicated mentoring to ensure a strong start to your teaching career. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Force Field Specialist: Instructing Physics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only. Practical Pioneer: Driving high attainment by fostering strong practical skills and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of experiments. STEM Ambassador: Supporting after-school clubs and science intervention sessions. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Physics or a related field. Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS). Support: Robust, structured ECT induction program and strong departmental support.
