Job description
A new opportunity has arisen for a motivated School Administrator to join a well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Reading . This is a full-time role beginning ASAP or January 2026 , offering clear procedures, excellent training, and strong office teamwork. Full-time School Administrator required Ofsted Good secondary school in Reading Support a busy and friendly school office team You will provide essential administrative support across reception, attendance, communication, and data entry while ensuring professional interactions with parents, students, and external stakeholders. Experience and Qualifications Administrative experience in a school or similar environment preferred Excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Confident with IT systems and MS Office Legal right to work in the UK School Information This 11–18 mixed school in Reading is rated Good by Ofsted , well-known for its inclusive ethos, academic success, and efficient operational systems. With approximately 1,300 students , the school places strong emphasis on safeguarding, professionalism, and staff support. The office team benefits from structured CPD, mentorship from senior administrative staff, and access to modern systems and resources. Salary Paid on the NJC pay scale, depending on experience.
