Job description
Borough: Haringey (Inner London) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time | Start: ASAP Salary: Competitive Independent Scale (Commensurate with experience) The Opportunity A leading independent day school in Haringey, distinguished by its record of sending students to world-class STEM universities, is seeking an exceptional Mathematics Teacher. This is a department where academic rigor meets pedagogical innovation. You will join a team of subject specialists who collaborate on advanced problem-solving techniques and participate in regional Mathematics competitions. Role & Responsibilities Advanced Pedagogy: Delivering Mathematics from Year 7 through to A-Level and Further Mathematics. You will be expected to stretch high-attaining students beyond the standard syllabus, incorporating elements of university-level logic and calculus. Curriculum Leadership: Contributing to the development of the "Advanced Mathematics Pathway," designed to prepare students for the STEP and MAT entrance examinations. Enrichment: Leading the school’s UKMT Maths Challenge training and overseeing the "Mathematics Society," inviting guest lecturers from top-tier universities. Assessment: Utilising sophisticated tracking data to provide highly personalized feedback, ensuring every student reaches their full academic potential.
