Job description
Religious Studies ECT required January 2026 Mixed secondary school based in March, Cambridgeshire RS ECT to join a reflective and see well-structured Humanities team Our Client is seeking a Religious Studies ECT to join a supportive secondary school in March. This role offers the opportunity to teach KS3 and KS4 RS, delivering lessons focused on ethics, philosophy and world religions within a department that values discussion, critical thinking and respectful debate. School Information This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,200 pupils and is known for its inclusive ethos, strong behaviour systems and consistent academic progress. The RS department follows a carefully sequenced curriculum that supports both subject knowledge and personal development. ECTs benefit from weekly mentor meetings, personalised development plans, reduced teaching load and regular lesson observations with constructive feedback. Staff describe the school as welcoming, respectful and professionally nurturing. Leadership is highly supportive of early career teachers and committed to long-term professional development.
