Job description
Spanish ECT required January 2026 Mixed secondary school based in St Albans Spanish ECT to join a forward-thinking and well-led MFL department Our Client is seeking a Spanish ECT to teach KS3 and KS4 within a well-established secondary school in St Albans. The successful candidate will receive strong departmental and pastoral support throughout their induction period. School Information This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,200 students and is recognised for its high standards of teaching, orderly classrooms and consistent student progress. The MFL department benefits from digital language programmes, speaking platforms and structured cultural enrichment projects. ECTs are supported through weekly mentoring sessions, collaborative lesson planning and regular CPD tailored to early career development. Teachers describe the school as warm, ambitious and professionally supportive, with leadership that values personal wellbeing and career progression.
