Job description
History Teacher – Collaborative and well-resourced comprehensive school – Newham Our client seeks an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a well-resourced, collaborative secondary school in Newham. This full-time, permanent position begins January 2026. • History Teacher required full-time from January 2026 • Collaborative and well-resourced comprehensive school in Newham • Join a motivated and supportive History department This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a broad History curriculum from KS3 to KS4, focusing on critical analysis, source evaluation, and thematic studies. The school encourages innovative and student-centred teaching, with strong engagement in history clubs and competitions. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs. Experience and Qualifications • Qualified History Teacher with QTS or equivalent • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 History, GCSE History curriculum knowledge essential • Ability to inspire students with engaging, inquiry-based lessons • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This community school in Newham serves a diverse student body and prides itself on its nurturing and inclusive ethos.
