Job description
School Status & Location Sector: Prestigious Independent School. Borough: Brent (Inner London, England). Start Date: Permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE) role commencing January 2026. The Opportunity & School Profile This creative independent school requires a dynamic and experienced Drama Teacher for a key part-time role. The school values theatrical development, seeking a specialist capable of leading performance and technical instruction, and driving engagement across the curriculum. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Stage Director: Instructing Drama across Key Stages 3, 4 (iGCSE), and 5 (A-Level), proportionate to the teaching fraction. Performance Coach: Driving high attainment by fostering expressive performance skills, complex textual analysis, and understanding of theatrical conventions. Production Assistant: Assisting with school productions and managing resources. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Relevant Degree in Drama/Theatre Studies and extensive experience teaching Drama to A-Level. Salary: Highly competitive salary compensated on the school's independent pay scale (pro-rata), reflecting Inner London weighting. Support: Access to excellent performance spaces and dedicated technical support.
