Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming and ambitious Primary School in Northamptonshire. This is a permanent role starting January 2026, providing the opportunity to support children at a key stage in their learning journey. Key Information Position: Year 1 Teacher Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full Time, Term Time Only Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome) About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative teacher to join our KS1 team. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will help pupils build on their Early Years experiences and make a smooth transition into Key Stage 1. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, independence, and confidence. The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a Year 1 Teacher, working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure that every child achieves their full potential.
