Job description
A well-organised and forward-thinking secondary school in Romford is seeking an experienced and highly organised Exams Officer to join their administrative team ASAP . This is a full-time, permanent position overseeing the effective delivery of all internal and external examinations. • Exams Officer – full-time, permanent • Secondary school in Romford • ASAP start • Competitive support staff salary About the Role The Exams Officer will be responsible for the planning, administration and smooth running of all examination processes, ensuring full compliance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements. Key responsibilities include: • Managing GCSE and A Level examination entries • Coordinating exam timetables, rooms and invigilators • Liaising with awarding bodies and examination boards • Ensuring compliance with JCQ and regulatory frameworks • Managing results days and post-results services • Maintaining accurate and confidential candidate records This is a pivotal role within the school, requiring precision, discretion and the ability to manage strict deadlines.
