Job description
Do you believe that English and Drama are more than just subjects—they are the foundation of storytelling, creativity, and self-expression? Can you immerse students in the power of language, performance, and communication? If so, we want to hear from you. We are looking for an inspirational English and Drama Teacher who can spark curiosity, ignite creativity, and make literature and theatre relevant and engaging for every student. What You’ll Do Bring stories and performances to life, helping students connect with the themes, emotions, and characters that shape our world. Use a blend of literature, creative writing, and drama to inspire a love for storytelling, performance, and language. Encourage students to analyse, question, and express their ideas, developing confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills. Direct and support school productions, drama workshops, literary clubs, and debating societies, expanding learning beyond the classroom. Who You Are A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a passion for both English and Drama. Someone who sees language and theatre as powerful tools for exploration and self-expression. An educator who adapts lessons to engage and challenge learners of all abilities. A team player who thrives in a collaborative and creative department. Why Join Us?
